Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy has been concluded on the basis of the provisions of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter referred to as GDPR.
1. PERSONAL DATA CONTROLLER
Media 4U Sp. z o.o. [limited liability company], based in Łódź, Sienkiewicza 72 H, entered into the register of entrepreneurs under No. 175848, NIP [Tax no.]: 726-22-23-331, REGON 472012084, share capital PLN 100,000, company records kept at the District Court for Łódź Śródmieście in Łódź, XX Division of the National Court Register is the Controller of the Customers’ personal data. 2. REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE AND THE CATEGORIES OF THE PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA
The Controller processes the following Customers’ personal data:
- full name,
- email address,
- telephone number.
The provision of personal data specified in Section 2 is not a statutory requirement and is voluntary.
3. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The Controller processes the Customers’ personal data for the following purposes:
- direct marketing, in particular newsletters, commercial information and contract offers distribution,
- creation of analysis and statistics, for the Controller’s own needs, in particular, reporting, marketing and market research, planning of service development, research of preferences and behavior of Customers, for the purpose of improving the quality of services provided by the Controller.
4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The legal basis for the processing of Customers’ personal data for the purpose specified in Section 3 – is GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest of the Controller),
5. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD
The Controller will store the personal data processed for the purposes specified in Section 3 until receiving an objection from Customer.
6. PERSONAL DATA RECIPIENTS
The Controller shall not transfer the Customers’ personal data to third parties unless a prior express consent of the Customer to do so has been obtained, or if the right or obligation to transfer such data arises from generally applicable legislation.
7. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES AND INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Customers’ personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.
8. CUSTOMERS’ RIGHTS
All the Customers are entitled to the following:
- the right to request access to their data, i.e., to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them is being processed,
- the right to rectification of the data, i.e. to request the rectification of personal data that concerns them and is incorrect,
- the right to request the deletion of their personal data,
- the right to request the restriction of their personal data,
- the right to object to data processing,
- the right to data transfer.
The scope of each of the rights set forth in Section 8 and the situations in which they may be exercised are defined by generally applicable legislation, in particular the GDPR.
The Customer may exercise the rights set forth in Section 8 by contacting the Controller.
9. THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
If the processing of the Customer’s personal data is based on the Customer’s consent, the Customer has the right to withdraw the consent at any time without affecting the compliance with the processing right, carried out on the basis of the consent before its withdrawal.
10. PROFILING
The Controller does not perform automated analysis of the Customers’ data, nor make predictions about their preferences or future behavior.
11. COMPLAINT TO THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
The Customer has the right to file a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Commissioner Office, Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates the law.
